End of the Sem, Again
Tuesday, April 28 4:49 PM

hi it's me, back again from my exam hiatus =) I shall not comment on it, at least not specifically, just in case I jinx myself =p but I really really hope to do well this time.

You know, we are weird people - we want stability and yet we're attracted to change. We try different hairstyles and upload new blogskins, go on new adventures and attempt new things. Because it's exciting, right? Something fun to do, and not the same old boring you?

I don't think it is contradictory if we want stability and change. We need both. Because if we change too much, we lose ourselves; and if we don't, we never know where we went wrong or how we have grown. Kind of like a phone that has to have it's basic functions, no matter how many extra features you jazz it up with.

Or, we can also say - same Andy, better clothes
=D

Right now I'm in the midst of exams. Just let me mug, and soon I'll be free to go out with my friends and play! Anyway, how does one study for Forensic?

Jap Oral
Monday, April 6 3:43 PM

I'm glad today's oral and listening test was better than Level 1. This time, less stammering, less pauses, and less 'uh' s. Languages are interesting.

So now there is one more report left for me to tackle. After today's lesson, there are many more changes to make to it, to practically all parts of the report. La la la~~

Not PMS, PDS
Saturday, April 4 2:44 AM

It's not easy to come home and see an empty cage at the corner with no cute green birdie inside. This is something that my family has to deal with, and eventually come to accept. I'm glad that she (the parrotlet) had a fun life though.

At least I have my 25 page report to think about, and worry about. In fact, with the deadline drawing closer, it's becoming more of a 25 page ordeal.

Throughout the last few days, I have managed to stress about it, get muddled up by it, and projected my stress on the nearest and dearest people around me. It's Pre-Deadline-Stress (PDS).

Heart-broken
Wednesday, April 1 2:53 PM

Although it's April Fool's Day, this morning's call from my mother was no joke - my family's dear baby parrotlet died

We bought her from a breeder when she was 3 months old, partly because we were looking to own a budgie again, but mainly because she cheeped so pleadingly at us from her huge cage placed at the back of the shop. At that time, she was just a baby bird, surrounded by grown-up parrots who couldn't care about a baby in their midst.

So we brought her home, and that was in february. She was our pet, but we were her family, although we lived outside the cage and seemed to disappear once in a while, and then reappear again.

Then my parents brought home a branch they found, and she played with it. But then she started behaving strangely and started losing her body heat. I wasn't around then. All these happened last night, and there was no time to get the vet. Besides, the tree, where they got the branch from, was not toxic. She also seemed to get better later on, and ate her seed and water.

It's so heart-breaking that she was not able to make it through the night.

She was supposed to live for 20 years.
