marketing is nearing the end
Saturday, March 31 7:08 PM

This is my 2nd time staying over in school on saturday - marketing proj (can't be helped)

the 2nd time the meeting started late (can't really be helped too)

and the 2nd time that i was caught off-guard (totally nothing to do with me)

Four of us were finding a room when the two-ppl-in-front walked past the quad
"where u all gg?"
"find tutorial room"
"then...i thought we're eating lunch?"
"oh. we're not hungry, so we go and find tut room first. you go eat with stephanie. she's hungry"

...(pause) (me: glares at them and rems that one of them just said she was hungry)

"oh. ok later we find u all"
(me thinks silently "nooooooo". drat.) (oh and on the way we saw this couple holding hands and the guy was SINGING - to the girl, i think - so scarily amusing) (but lunch was surprisingly ok, although i'm always nervous about eating alone with a guy)

marketing meeting was quite ok. we no longer act like strangers to each other as compared to our first meeting, so in a way, that is good. However I will still keep wishing for all my project groups to be cohesive and close, without the groupthink. After this course is over, I don't suppose we'll be meeting up again. Unlike pw115. =(

It can't be helped.

Other thoughts
I think our choice of the CEO is good. Amusing, outspoken, crappy - tricia will like =)
I must be old. Technology seems to awe me.
Our respective music choices are strange *grin*
Does our group have a sense of humour? Yep. very wry, dry humour.
Thanks z for driving us back. I hope everyone got back safely!

i'm strange and you're strange
Wednesday, March 28 10:55 PM

I'm so strange.

I just spent my time in the shower laughing over 2 unrelated, not-really-funny things. (and you know how hard it is to laugh silently)

1) popping pimple in front of a webcam

2) exquisite

man...i'm laughing over things that I can't explain why they are funny. Especially no. 2. (and I didn't even eat chocolate to get this high)

now what remains is a - light, xing fu, no-worries, warm-glow - feeling

Taurus vs baby lizard
10:43 PM

last night i spent 30 minutes trying to coax a baby lizard out of my room.

it had a striped tail, and I would have allowed it to stay except that it might crawl onto my bed (eww). So I had to use a piece of paper to try and shift it out from under my bed. It was damn difficult. It was so frightened that it kept hiding in the shadows. (come on, the distance from my bed to the door isn't very far)

It was so exasperating that I considered picking it up (afterall I did it before in primary sch, and it wasn't frightening) BUT it kept running away from me.

I woke jas up, and she said "don't worry, I have nothing against lizards" and went. back. to. sleep. grrrrr (oh but it was 3am)

It was so stubborn, but thankfully i'm a taurus.

I was sweating by the time i managed to coax it out of the door.

the sea of deadlines (tsk)

today someone cut hair...lol amazing how a haircut can make a difference.

but anyway, more importantly,

someone just walked passed my hall room whistling Mission Impossible.
*grin*

at home
Saturday, March 10 1:29 AM

hi everyone! i'm now back at home (finally!) after spending the whole week at my hall. Although i still have lots of homework this weekend, it's really great to be back. The first thing i did was to indulge in some cny cookies - really like this comfortable, familiar, do-it-your-way feeling. Of course i'll be going back to hall soon, but now is the time for me to relax and treasure my time with my family.

I hope everyone's ok. Remember to eat good food and get enough rest. Don't sleep so late ok! (5am is when the farmers wake up, not time for you to go to bed) Tiring out your body is bad for your health.

stephie has been really busy this week, and it looks like this month i will be even busier. Exams and reports are popping up, and i really want to show that i can do it. Of course i will try to keep my chin up, and zhou3 yi bu, suan4 yi bu. haha!

spa
Thursday, March 8 12:26 AM

went over to another toilet to bathe tonight.

the shower cubicle tt i went to had the most amazing shower-nozzle. Didnt get a jet of water like usual, but instead the water came out in a mist-like spray.

hot mist = cleansing + relaxing effect

very fun!
