It's finally february, and for the past two nights i've been sleeping at 4am. Due to some horrendous 8 page report for Sensation and Perception psych (aka S&P). And then this coming monday we're having a biopsych test - 3 parts: Pass up 4 chapts of the colouring book + Complete take-home quiz + In-class test.
In the words of XX:
Siao liao!Although it still doesn't seem as bad as what my chem engin friends have - like I told mm n sharon, my kids will never take chem engin.
On a brighter note, once the biopsych test is over, there are lots of fun things to look forward to.
Wed: basketball match!
Thurs: steamboat!
Fri: Sm's bday!
Sun: February babies bdays!
How exciting. =) Anyway last weekend we took another roadtrip to this nearby town of Athens - full of super delicious food and cool nightlife. (pictures are mostly with sm though) And yesterday mm and sharon and some others went to this restaurant-cum-bar. It seemed a blast, and I'm waiting for my chance to try drinks like vodka ribena and lychee martini. Beer tastes HORRIBLE btw...I can't understand how sm and jeff like it so much. They're nuts.
Anyway we've all been living quite health-ly over here. Fruits, salads (on tues!), homecooked meals, a bit of gym at night (i'm quite addicted to sit-ups and threadmill). It's really a pity that each hall in NTU doesn't have a gym, and that the Sports recreation centre is tiny compared to the one at Gtech.
The guys are getting the sports-bug too, and every friday they have soccer matches or basketball matches where they form their own teams and play against anyone who'll play with them. It's becoming a 'tradition' and sometimes they'll talk about how they're gg to trash the other side for the next game.
I'm supposed to have swimming twice a week too, but so far we've either been too busy or something cropped up. Hence my swimming costume still lies unused in the drawer. Jeff tells us that there's a waterslide too, and Sharon and I got pretty excited about it. Speaking of sharon, the dear gal has yet to buy a swimming costume! She and mm prefer to jog around the campus though, so I guess I'll have to wait a little bit longer for my swimming sessions to start.
Oh and I'm rather partial to smoothies too, although I've only had 2 since I arrived.
PS: thanks for writing in my tagboard peeps...luv reading them, miss you all, and sorry for not replying for a long time. *hugs*
