Cognitive pschology, chapter on language.

My prof included this link to a website - apparently they asked people from all over the world to read a passage in english, and then recorded down their voices.

Click 'browse' and click 'atlas/regions'. Then select the area or country which you would like to hear the accent. Remember to give some time for the recording to load =)

The objective was to show the differences in accents from english speakers all over the world. Despite all the differences in pronounciation and sound, our brain is still able to comprehend the spoken english. coool~!
